Adult Outpatient–
We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
Adult outpatient services are provided through Steps Forward, LLC. Steps Forward accepts the following insurance, although not all providers may accept each insurance:
Medicare
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida
United Health Care
Beech Street plans
Vocational Rehabilitation
Tricare/Humana Military
Aetna
Evolutions
If you use your insurance, you will need a prescription or authorization from your physician (depending upon your plan). Not all plans for all insurances are accepted, and your plan may not include therapy services.
Pediatric Outpatient
Pediatric outpatient services (speech, occupational and physical therapies) are provided through Steps Forward, LLC. Steps Forward accepts the following insurance**:
Medicaid—Medipass (no HMOs)
Children’s Medical Services (CMS)
Evolutions
Aetna
United Health Care
Tricare/Humana Military
Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida
Beech Street plans

**Commercial insurances (non-Medicaid or CMS plans) typically do not pay for pediatric therapy services unless your child has suffered a stroke, brain injury, or has cleft palate. Some plans cover the diagnosis of autism. Your insurance may also have a large deductible for therapy services. Please check with your carrier about your benefits. Steps Forward will work with private pay clients.
